Pregnancy Yoga

This class offers solid foundations in a safe pregnancy yoga practice, designed to alleviate some of the most common aches and pains associated with your changing body throughout pregnancy, as well as helping to prepare the body for birth and postpartum recovery. Pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to keep maintain your physical, spiritual and emotional health during this period of rapid physical and emotional change, as well as connecting with your baby and others mums-to-be.

Each week thoughtfully builds on the week before, covering content including:

  • safe, beneficial and wide-ranging yoga asana

  • preparing the body and mind for labour

  • breathing techniques for pregnancy and birth

  • yogic and active birth tools and skills

  • yoga nidra, visualisation and meditations for pregnancy and birth

  • restorative yoga and sound healing for pregnancy

No prior yoga experience is necessary. This class is suitable from any gestation, but if you are new to yoga to please wait until your 12-week check before you attend your first class.
